Network marketing though very successful, still remains a very misunderstood industry. Its credibility got a major boost when several high profile people like Robert Kiyosaki, Donald Trump, Warren Buffet came out in support for it.

In fact Robert Kiyosaki has written a book about network marketing where he details how it changes people’s lives. Actually he has a great knack for explaining things in a way that it looks simple. In his book, he talks about his famous 4 quadrant principle.

The quadrants are: E, S, B and I. He explains that one can classify earning individuals into one of these 4 quadrants. E stands for employee. These are people who are looking for jobs to earn their livelihood. S stands for self employed. These are people who provide services or run small level businesses. These people operate by themselves. B stands for the business owner (he is the person who employs others to work for him in his business) and I stands for the investor (he is one who builds his wealth by using various investment strategies).

He furthers goes on to explain that only the business owners and the investors ever experience true financial freedom. He says that financial freedom is all about making money work for you and not the other way round. That is the reason why working people with incredible income levels are not considered to be financially free.

Robert Kiyosaki firmly believes that people must learn how to make money work for them so that they become financially free. For that they need to be a part of either the third quadrant or the fourth quadrant.

One may be tempted to ask “what about the guy who has limited resources”? Here’s where network marketing enters.
